But what actually is a “photowalk”, and why are they becoming the ultimate weekend plan for local creatives? Let’s break down everything you need to know, why you should join the next one, and how to secure your spot!
What is a Photowalk?
At its core, a photowalk is exactly what it sounds like—a casual, social event where a group of photography lovers get together to explore a neighborhood, park, or city center on foot.
But it’s also so much more than that. It’s an excuse to slow down, look at familiar streets with fresh eyes, and capture the hidden gems of the city. From striking architecture and sweeping landscapes to candid street moments and the occasional furry friend crossing our path—if you can see it, you can shoot it! There are zero rules on what you can photograph.
