WHO WE ARE
CLE Photowalks is a passion project that came from a simple idea: Cleveland deserves to be seen. Led by photographer Gabe Wasylko and backed by the team at Pixel Connection, we organize free community walks that turn everyday neighborhoods into photographic discoveries.
Whether you shoot on a phone or a full-frame mirrorless camera, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned shooter, every lens is welcome. Our walks are about connection as much as photography.
THE PIXEL CONNECTION- More than just a Camera Store
Pixel Connection is an independent specialty camera retailer, located in Avon, Ohio. They carry everything from entry-level cameras to professional cinema equipment, all backed by staff who actually pick up a camera on the weekends.
Unlike big box stores, Pixel Connection doesn’t just hand you a box. They sit with you, ask you what you’re shooting, and make sure you walk out with the right gear for your goals. That philosophy is exactly why they host CLE Photowalks. Because, the best way to learn is to get out and shoot!
Meet Cleveland Photographer Gabe Wasylko
Our lead photographer, Gabe Wasylko is a Cleveland based photographer known for his stunning images of the city’s landmarks and skylines. With a background in video and creative work, including managing in-game entertainment for the RubberDucks, Gabe picked up a camera during Covid-19 and challenged himself to photograph Cleveland everyday. That dedication grew into a thriving photography pracive, collaborating with local brands, creatives, and changemakers across Northeast Ohio.
